The Pride Month has kicked off with an LGBTQ+ film festival, known as Kashish 2022. Bollywood movie ‘Badhaai Do’ screening took place at the opening of the film festival on June 02, 2022. Rajkummar Rao along with co-star Chum Darang and director Harshavardhan Kulkarni attended the screening. Filmmaker Sridhar Rangayan, who is the festival director, also posed for the paparazzi during the screening. Movie ‘Badhaai Do’ features Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkummar Rao, Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chaddha, Lovleen Mishra, Nitesh Pandey, Shashi Bhushan, Chum Darang and Deepak Arora. During an interview, ‘Badhaai Do’ director Harshavardhan Kulkarni said, “We are humbled by the opportunity to present this film in front of this wonderful audience in the ‘month of pride’. We hope that our film can be viewed as a small contribution towards building a more inclusive world, one where laughter and tears happily coexist.”
